Resort Maps and Check-in Maps
I also do a number of hand-painted resort maps in different media and styles for hotels, resorts and towns.
Here’s a gouache painting with a bird’s-eye view of Jackson Lake Lodge, Wyoming.
Architectural rendering in watercolor of Beaver Run Resort, Breckenridge is used as their check-in map.
My faux-historic town map of Silverton, Colorado is a pencil and pen drawing.
Here’s a detail.
This plan view of Main Street Station, Breckenridge is drawn in pen with watercolor; the labels and overlays were added with Illustrator and Quark Xpress.
These are also used on the plaza and in the elevator lobbies for wayfinding.
